In Split, a Sustainable Version of Denver’s Skyline Park

Imagine Skyline Park in Downtown Denver as a quiet, green and peaceful site for some nice local cats. That would be quite a change.

But, really, these guys camp out close to the bakery, close to a cafe, mere feet from gelato, outside a grocery store and within walking distance of the daily fish market. No music, no dogs, no skateboards, no police and no Downtown Denver Partnership staffers. No pot, either. And, certainly, they don’t bother the neighbors who regularly feed them. Think about it.

I used to call this “Cat Island”. Now I’ll go with “Skyline Park”.
