Unauthorized Overnight Camping Ban Passes First Council Test

Early this morning, but before the “campers” were up, the Denver City Council voted 9-4 in favor of a proposed ban on sleeping in public or private outdoor (without permission) spaces in the City of Denver. This was the first reading of the bill in front of Council. The final vote will take place on May 14, and, if passed, the law will go into effect on May 29. It’s an emotional issue. 4th Annual LoDo Loft Tour This Sunday, July 24!

You can tour unique LoDo loft homes this Sunday…for a very good cause. Family HomeStead, a long-established non-profit working to keep families in independent housing, not shelters, will benefit from donations for the tour.
