And, Good Morning, through the magic of email, from our good friends and long-time LoDo neighbors, Dick and Priscilla Roberts, currently residing on top of the world in Verbier, Switzerland. We were comparing notes.

How was your day?

“Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes…”

He’s still singing. I’m still writing. After a good year and a half of dormancy (in blog posting here, not my own dormancy by any means), the New and Improved Denver by the Slice is toasting again!

Looking to the window over the bar near our place in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. As with any new place, it may take some getting used to. Next few months should help.

The Editorial Team has left town.  For various reasons, but also to bring you something to read about you may or may not have thought about. Will it really have to do with Denver? Sometimes. Will it really reflect that famously wry wit of the staff? Of course. Will there be pretty pictures of something besides tower cranes, clipboards, cardboard signs, traffic jams, pizza on the sidewalk, rolling suitcases and buses rolling through red lights? Yes. We are not in Downtown Denver.

Check in here often for a new view…of living somewhere else…and in Downtown Denver!

Oh. Probably some politics, too.

Back by Popular Demand!

Well, several people really did ask about me if I was going to renew the popular “Denver by the Slice” blog that reflected a certain viewpoint about living the last several years in Downtown Denver. The stories are all still there for you to read. So, here we go again. New stories. New developments. New pictures. The newest post will always be at the top of this page. So, look now. Just above this small announcement. To see what we are up to.  Of course, you will also see the occasional comment about life in Downtown Denver…and how it compares to life somewhere else. Like here. Hasta Luego!
